Live-a-board boats are the ultimate way to surf. With no set itinerary, you enjoy flexibility to follow the swells to wherever is best on the day. You sample more breaks and find secluded locations with nobody out. These days un-crowded surf is harder to find and the last remaining bastions often have no road access. Utilizing a boat is often the only practical way to surf these hidden gems.

 

Once there, anchoring right on a break allows more surf time than a land-based stay. It's great watching the  line-up and choosing the best times of day. Plus some sunset drinks or yoga a million miles from civilisation  provides a fitting way to en the perfect day. Sea-sickness is often less of a concern on larger boats and overnight anchorages are normally in sheltered waters. Island visits and a range of enticing activities are offered as we island hop our way along pristine coastlines.

 

Tropicsurf boats tend towards large, spacious and upmarket vessels, usually rated as 4 or 5 star. Crew offer excellent service and sumptuous menus are prepared by master chefs. Though you will find cheaper trips on the market, your stay aboard a Tropicsurf chartered vessel will range from extremely comfortable to incredibly luxurious.
